Building Partnerships for Progress Through Transportation Research: Highlights from TRB's 2008 Annual Meeting

For five days in January, Washington, D.C., became the capital of transportation research—or at least the connecting hub—with more than 10,500 researchers, practitioners, and administrators representing government, industry, and academia gathering from the United States and abroad to network with peers, share information, and interact at sessions and workshops, committee meetings, commercial exhibits, and many additional events. This article contains photographic highlights from the program.
