Air Hamburg : catering for the regional niche markets

Subtitle: Foris Helmers and Alexander Lipsky, founders and managing partners of Air Hamburg, started their entrepreneurial careers at the age of 23 when they acquired the Hamburg Aviation School in the late 1980s. In the spring of 2005, they decided to diversify activities and launch their own airline aimed at providing scheduled operations to some of Germany's North Sea islands as well as charter flights.
