UK air passenger demand and CO2 forecasts
This report was produced in response to the DfT's commitment to publish in 2007 a technical note on passenger demand forecast methods and results, plus revised UK aviation emissions forecasts. The report sets out the CO2 forecasting and appraisal methods; it gives updated passenger demand and CO2 forecasts and it updates economic appraisal results. Since 2004 various developments have taken place and this report outlines each development, summarising its relevance. Passenger demand, CO2 emissions, and economic benefits of additional capacity in the South East are investigated, supported by 11 annexes.
