TRASSIERUNG UND GESTALTUNG VON TUNNELRAMPEN

The work is concerned with the way and extent to which road and tunnel projects influence each other, with particular reference to that section of road which connects the open road section with the tunnel section, i.e. the tunnel ramp. The following aspects are dealt with: the requisite traffic surveys, alignment and cross-sectional profile of the ramps, toll and customs buildings, junction areas, snow removal, carriageway heating, portal construction, reversal of operation, provisional one year operation, traffic signs and the provisions for tunnel closure. /TRRL/
