ELECTROLYTIC CORROSION OF RAILS ON THE GIOVI LINE
LE CORROSIONI ELETTROLITICHE DELLE ROTAIE SULLA LINEA SUCCURSALE DEI GIOVI
It is common knowledge that d.c. electric current installations can give rise to electrolytic corrosion in sunken structures as a result of traction current dispersal in the ground. The article describes fairly simple measures for eradicating this phenomenon, or at least reducing it.
