The debate between stiff and yielding seats - a new generation of yielding seats with high retention in rear crashes
This book presents new studies and reprints (in some cases shortened versions) of SAE and AAAM articles on stiff and yielding vehicle seats and their performance during collisions. Occupant retention and whiplash prevention during rear end collisions are discussed and an overview of seat safety patents is presented.
