LEGAL FRAMEWORK CHANGES TO ENSURE THE SUCCESS IN THE ETC FREE FLOW SYSTEMIN CHILE
The success of the Electronic Toll Collection Free Flow System in Chile is an example for countries of the region, but whether this experience can be repeated in others part of the region is needed to be evaluated. The purpose of this document is to review the Chilean experience in the operation of its legal framework. Some preliminary review to legislature of some countries like Peru, Argentina and Brazil are compared. The experience obtained has been significant but it's still not enough to obtain definite conclusion. Insufficiency has been observed that must be addressed. For the covering abstract see E134653.
