Transportation Management Plan and ITS Implementation During Mass Evacuation
The goal of this study is to show how intelligent transportation systems (ITS) can be utilized during mass emergency evacuations; to present guidelines for using ITS in emergency evacuation operations; and to describe how agencies can participate in this process. ITS resources are identified and coordination of agencies is discussed. There is also a section on emergency operations and evacuation plans.
