Hayward Uses Public Transit Villages to Stimulate Urban Redevelopment

This chapter discusses the undertaking of expanding mixed used development around transit stations in San Francisco. The Bay Area Rapid Transit District has partnered with private developers and supermarket chains to increase transit oriented development in the San Francisco Bay area. Some issues touched on include parking and retrofitting.
