Electric and hybrid vehicle technology international 2008
This publication provides a round-up of the emergence of many different types of sustainable transport solutions form different manufacturers over a 12-month period. Concepts covered include battery-electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles including diesel-hybrid powertrain, and fuel cell technology. Advances in diesel and gasoline engines are still considered possible. Separate articles consider the BMW X6 with dual-mode hybrid technology, the Nissan Maxim, Peugeot 308 Hybride, Mercedes F 700, Porsche Cayenne Hybrid, and the Volvo Gryphin. Research at Ohio State University and Bath University is outlined. Interviews with key players in the industry are also provided.
