Ageing, a Situation Handicap

The Association Zairoise des Handicapes' main concern is to share with others its own experience on "Ageing, a situation handicap," which is a major subject that is to be presented at the 6th International Conference on Mobility and Transport for Elderly and Disabled People, Comotred 92, during the session dealing with the situation handicap problem. The Association Zairoise des Handicapes shall define traditionally and separately the terms "handicap" and "old age" and shall specify their common denominator. The Association Zairoise des Handicapes shall compare old age and handicap such as they are lived in developed countries to the way they are lived in so-called developing countries. The Association Zairoise des Handicapes shall try to give a few examples and will make various proposals while appealing to all men of good will to help this category of human beings, at the dawn of the year 2000. At last, a short conclusion will summarize the Association Zairoise des Handicapes' proposals.
