Uncertainties in Airport Cost Analysis

The results from the cost and demand studies are used as input to a simulation model to analyse the combined effect of the uncertainties involved and gives as output information about incertainty distributions for demand, time of implementation for the different airport projects and the resulting costs and net present values for different interest rates. The methods developed, are applied to the problem of location of new major airport in the Oslo region in Norway.
