The Design of Embedded Cruise Control System
This article considers cruise control systems (CCS), often used to make driving safer and more comfortable. The author first reviews the basic principles of the CCS and the input/output signals used, then describes the design scheme of the CCS based on the S3C44B0X of Samsung Corporation. The author focuses on the theory and method of hardware design and the auto-adaptive PI controls which have quick response, stability, low over-modulation range, and other features. A computer simulation is used to evaluate the CCS. The article concludes that CCS is simple to operate, has high reliability, is easy to extend and upgrade, and has great practical application.
