Set-Model Improvement of Urban Taxi Capacity
This article reports on a study of the relationship between taxi capacity and trip characteristics, including traffic plot, traffic undertaking by taxi, operation effect, and operation income. The authors note that, by improving the set-model about taxi capacity, using the investigated results of traffic plot, the urban taxi capacity can be calculated. Future taxi capacity can be forecasted by using the future traffic data in the city plan; this method can be a tool for public traffic planning for a city.
