This paper describes the Logistics Performance Index and its indicators, which provide a cross country and in-depth evaluation of the logistics gap that exists among countries. It presents a detailed look at the performance of supply chains--including costs of logistics, customs procedures, quality of infrastructure, tracing and tracking shipments, destination arrival timeliness, and competence.
