A Method of Capacity Computation for Complex Railway Systems. Volume 4: Transport Management
The capacity of railway systems is usually calculated by different method for lines (see UIC and DB methods) and for stations. The analytical method proposed in this paper, computes, simultaneously and without using time-tables, the maximization number of trains and their percentage occupation in the network for a determinate time interval, for a particular composition of train classes and for each element of the system.
