Optimal Fleet Deployment for Bulkers and Liners: Insights from a Decade of Research. Volume 4: Transport Management
Due to the very different degree of competition in the bulker and liner markets, and also due to the very dissimilar constraints on their respective operations, optimal fleet deployment is quite different for each one. Over the past ten year, the authors have provided “exact” and “approximate” algorithms for single or multi-origin and destination problems for bulker fleet deployment.
