Transportation Corridors in Pacific-Asian Urban Regions. Volume 3: Transport Policy

Corridors are a convergence of transactions and spatial accumulation in a buffer space between articulation points—hub centers of multimodal transportation networks. The tendency for articulation points is to develop transshipment functions while relocating production and processing functions along the corridor. Transportation corridors underline a new dimension in the study of urbanization over an extended territory.
