The Need for an Assessment Methodology in the Emerging European Network Economy. Volume 2: Modelling Transport Systems
A single market in Europe and the North American Free Trade Association (NAFTA) will promote trans-border traffic. GATT will boost international trade and transport infrastructure has to be upgraded to meet globalization issues, but the possibilities of financing the infrastructures remain limited and public funds are scarce. A new frame of reference seems necessary for the assessment of infrastructure networks on a continental scale.
