World Transport Research. Proceedings of the 7th World Conference on Transport Research
No other transportation conference has the scope and authority of the triennial World Conference on Transport Research. The four thematically organized volumes of World Transport Research present the best papers from the 7th Conference Proceedings held July 16-July 21, 1995 in Sydney, Australia. The four volumes represent the latest in transportation research around the world, bridging the gap between research practice and covering a wide range of themes of current importance within transportation. Volume 1, Travel Behavior, contains 30 papers on the theses of behavioral modeling, safety and mobility. Volume 2, Modeling Transport Systems, contains 35 papers organized hierarchically on traffic system models, urban models, regional models and national models. Volume 3, Transport Policy, contains 47 papers on the themes of transport and land use planning, evaluation, sustainability and the environment, modal specific policy, and Asia-Pacific policy. Volume 4, Transport Management, contains 38 papers on the management and operation of transport businesses, organized into modal themes of freight and logistics, maritime, rail, road and aviation.
