Estimation of Wear and Strain of Contact Wire Using Contact Force of Pantograph
In this paper the author examines the possibility of estimating wear and strain of contact wire by using the contact force data from a pantograph. An artificial neural network is used for its learning and estimating capabilities. Learning weight is derived by using a back propagation algorithm. Results show that contact force data is useful in estimating the wear and strain of contact wire.
