Let There Be Light

A new portable lighting system called balloon lights is being used to illuminate jobsites. This article describes the benefits of using these lights. Balloon lights are self-inflating, easy to use, silent and extremely portable. Their primary benefit is that they offer diffused lighting, eliminating glare and shadows. Most balloon lights offer various configurations that can be mounted to mobile pieces of equipment, tripods for stationary use, wheeled stands or truck hitches. The balloon lights may look fragile, but they actually are very durable and easy to maintain. Although the balloon lights offer many advantages, they cannot completely replace traditional light towers, which offer a wider area of light coverage and can be tilted to illuminate other areas. However, for many applications, the balloon lights offer an effective lighting alternative.
