ROADS AND TRAFFIC - NATIONAL PARKS
Reference is made in this circular to the conclusions on national park policies following the Sandford Committee review of the national parks. The general relationships which should and do exist between highway and traffic authorities and the national park authorities are discussed. Road improvements, the need for traffic control and the movement of traffic within the park areas are considered. Guidance is given on procedure where improvement is needed to routes through national park areas. /TRRL/
