THE ANALYSIS OF SOME WATER-REDUCING CONCRETE ADMIXTURES
This study was carried out to satisfy the need for information on the chemical composition and properties of new commercial materials now available on the New Zealand market. Twenty samples of water-reducing admixtures have been analysed by standard chemical and spectrophotometric methods. The admixtures can be divided into four classes depending on their chemical composition. Differential thermal analysis in oxygen provides a rapid means of uniquely identifying the different admixtures. /TRRL/
