CURRENT PRACTICE IN THE FIELD OF INFORMATION FOR BUS NETWORKS
PRATIQUES ACTUELLES DES RESEAUX D'AUTOBUS EN MATIERE D'INFORMATION
User information is one of the current preoccupations of those involved in the promotion of public transport. This study attempts to outline and to analyse current practice in the field of user information. It defines: the modes of diffusion adopted, the media used, the contents and the form of the proposed information. These information practices will be examined with respect to the result of surveys carried out amongst users of certain networks. A synthesis and commentary are presented, which attempt to take into account the problems arising from the presentation of different information contents as regards their use by users. /TRRL/
