Evaluation of the Retained Earth™ MSE Wall System
This evaluation was conducted for the Retained Earth™ Wall System (Retained Earth) developed by Foster Geotechnical. The primary components of this retaining wall system have been identified as: (1) wall facing panels made of precast concrete; (2) wall foundation on which the wall is erected; (3) select soil backfill; (4) reinforcement made of galvanized welded wire mesh (WWM) for reinforcing the backfill soil. This evaluation focuses on the components and applicable details associated with the MSE and gravity wall retaining wall system.
