AUTOMATIC LOADING SYSTEM BETWEEN RAILROADS WITH DIFFERENT TRACK GAGES: VEVEY BOGIE CARRIER

UN SYSTEME DE CHARGEMENT AUTOMATIQUE ENTRE RESEAUX D'ECARTEMENTS DIFFERENTS: LE BOGIE-TRANSPORTEUR VEVEY

A new bogie-carrier and a system for loading these bogies which is simple, efficient and fast was developed. The system makes it possible to convey bulk traffic to be rationalized between railroads with different track gages. The authors report that the carrier can be brought into service almost automatically through the intermediary of a loading station.
