COMPUTERIZED TRIPLE-AXIS DRIVE FOR THE PATH CONTROL OF SHIP MODELS
A description is given of a new type of planar motion system for experiments with ship models. This system takes the form of a mechanism mounted on a trailer carriage. Digital positioning control by process computer and high-speed drives enables ship models to be towed and tracked along very accurately predetermined paths over the entire surface of the towing tank.
