Special Driving Needs: Definition, Market Size for Canada and the United States and Guidelines for Consumer Choice
This paper presents special driving needs and it is presented in two parts. The first part assesses the nature of driving-related disability and quantifies the number of driving-disabled persons in North America. The second part of the paper presents guidelines for the purchase of vehicles and adaptive driving aids by elderly and disabled persons.
