New name, same ethos

An interview with Shapoor Naghshineh, managing director of RCP Parking (formerly Regional Car Parks) is presented. The company has 50 car parks and plans to double the number. The company is bidding for a number of car park management contracts around London and Manchester, UK. RCP's sister companies are property developer Targetfollow and cycle parking specialist Sekura-Byk. The history of Naghshineh's involvement in RCP Parking is outlined. RCP's external clients include companies such as Standard Life. Naghshineh aims to visit every site at least once a year. RCP is a family-run business with approximately 70 staff, including 15 at its Norwich head office. He is keen to build on RCP's reputation for being a customer-friendly car parking operator. The company offers valeting services at two car parks and is looking to extend the service. The company places great emphasis on training staff in customer service and has a substantial budget for vegetation at its car parks.
