STREET LIGHTING AND VEHICLE LIGHTING UPDATE (2004-2007)

This issue of Current Topics includes over 75 abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles which focus on the design and maintenance of street lighting, luminance level, effect of street lighting on road safety, design of vehicle headlamps, brake lights, sustainable street lighting systems and daytime running lights. These items have been selected from the material added to the Transport Research Laboratory's Library Database between 2004 and 2007. Much of the relevant English language published literature from the UK, USA, Australia and Europe is included; some of the non-UK literature is included courtesy of the OECD International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) database.
