Axiom Gears Up For New European Launch
British company Axiom Rail is planning to expand its operations from its home base and Nordic countries into other areas of Europe. Axiom was formed after Probotec, a bogie manufacturer, was acquired by EWS, Britain's largest freight operator, in 2005. The author primarily discusses the TF25E bogie Axiom has developed, part of its track-friendly line of suspensions and bogies. TF25E details included in the article are TSI acceptance, brakes, wheelbase, and wheel diameter. The TF25SA single-axle suspension system is also discussed.
