Special Issue [Mel Webber: 1920 - 2006]
This special issue of Access is a tribute to Mel Webber. Through the remembrances of a several colleagues, the issue looks at his teaching, writing, and the influence Mel Webber has had on the field of planning. Authors contributing essays to this issue include: Martin Wachs, Robert Cervero, Brian D. Taylor, Sir Peter Hall, Elizabeth Deakin, Jonathan Richmond, Michael B. Teitz, Daniel Sperling, and Charles Lave. Topics addressed include urban, regional and rural planning, public transit, transportation research, and developing countries.
