Railroader of the Year: Bill Wimmer: Building Union Pacific
This article offers a detailed biographical overview of Bill Wimmer, Vice President-Engineering at Union Pacific, and Railway Age Magazine’s Railroader of the Year for 2007. It describes his accomplishments in the railroad sector, beginning in 1957 with Chicago & North Western, to the present, including the last 33 years at Union Pacific (UP).
