Betting Big on Growth

This article describes the air cargo business and the outlook for the immediate future. The author suggests that air cargo traffic will grow about six percent over the next 20 years, but it is unlikely to grow at a steady pace. The article describes the effects of the economies of China and India on growth, and the potential negative effects of higher oil prices, possible terrorist attacks, outbreaks of a SARS-like virus, and whether or not the Democratic-controlled U.S. Congress may make changes regarding free trade. Average growth in air cargo business for 2007 is expected.
