Dressing's back in fashion

The Vale of Glamorgan Council and the city councils of Newport and Cardiff, Wales, UK had turned away from using surface dressing due to a history of problems. Through a combination of effective materials, state-of-the-art equipment and high-quality workmanship from contractor Accord, the three councils have returned to the technique. Accord is using two HAPAS-approved surface dressing emulsions supplied by Nynas: Duramuls for premium-grade surface dressing binders and Fleximuls for intermediate grade binders. Nynas has also provided Accord with two state-of-the-art sprayers for the South Wales contracts.(A)
