IGNITION NOISE INTERFERENCE ON SHORT WAVES
This paper considers the effect of automobile ignition noise on receivers operating in the HF band. In order to simulate the effective interfering capability of cars on a short-wave fixed service receiving station, measurements were carried out on vehicles at appropriate elevation angles. Tests and measurements are described and graphical results are included.
