From There to Here: Supply Chain Security
Containers arriving at U.S. seaports contain everything from auto parts and medical instruments to toys, electronics, clothing, and shoes. Each shipment represents a specific supply chain, and every supply chain is subject to multiple layers of security processes, reducing the risk that something bad may arrive in the United States. An illustration is presented of a supply chain arriving at the Port of Tacoma. It shows just a few of the security processes that scrutinize each container that enters the United States.
