CONTAINER BERTH SYSTEM STUDY
The analyses carried out relate specifically to high throughput, deep-sea British multiuser berths. The models developed as part of the study are flexible and make it possible to study almost any berth situation. The four British deep-sea multiuser berths examined as part of the study shared two major features: the use of straddle carriers for the overwhelming majority of all operations; and similar demand patterns.
