STUDY OF MARITIME AIDS TO NAVIGATION IN THE SHORT DISTANCE MARITIME ENVIRONMENT. TASK II. NAVIGATIONAL AIDS
A determination was made of the currently available aids to navigation applicable in the short distance civil maritime environment, and the expected state of the art in the next 10 years. The operational characteristics are described. A methodology for determining the effectiveness of navigational aids systems and elements thereof was developed. (Author)
