Proceedings: Austroads National Sprayed Sealing Workshops

An Austroads national workshop on sprayed sealing was held to assist development of a research program and identify challenges to the future use of seals. Delegates identified key issues under the themes of: safety and traffic management; national uniformity; expertise and capability; seal/pavement interaction; seal performance data; improving business and communication; gains from technology; bituminous materials; quarry products; skid resistance; construction and maintenance practices; design of treatments. The key issues were prioritised and action statements subsequently developed for each. (a)
