Network investment analysis for road asset management

This paper presents an overview of current capabilities in Main Roads for conducting road network investment studies using the SCENARIO Millennium suite, the Highway Development and Management system HDM-4 and other tools. The paper highlights the importance of quality asset data on which these tools depend. Recent case studies of applications of these tools are briefly described.
