Life Cycle Cost Analysis of Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavements
The primary goal of this study was to investigate the cost effectiveness of five continuously reinforced concrete pavement (CRCP) design features. These design features are as follows: longitudinal steel reinforcement percentage, portland cement concrete (PCC) slab width, PCC slab thickness, shoulder type and thickness, and base type and thickness. The authors conducted a life cycle cost analysis using different combinations of these five design features.
