Retro finale: concluding movement of a composition in 'retro reflection' (AccuBrite traceable secondary standards for retroreflectometers: update)
Reflectometers are used for the measurement of night visibility of pavement markings. Measured as the coefficient of retroreflected luminance, or retroreflectivity, night visibility determines the visibility of markings under headlight illumination. A range of reflectometers are in common use throughout Australia and New Zealand, but until recently there has been no method of standardising these devices such that the measurements obtained are comparable.
