Case studies of two alternatives to roading projects
This paper describes two current freight transport Alternative to Roading proposals and their passage through the Transfund funding approval process. It illustrates the protracted nature of the process and that not all of the Transfund criteria can be found in Transfunds published material. It concludes that policy in this area is still developing. (a) For the covering entry of this conference, please see ITRD abstract no. E212706.
