Fuzzy Modelling of the Logistics System
This paper deals with modeling of logistics systems and their components by fuzzy reasoning and fuzzy logic. A fuzzy approach is applied to production logistics systems focusing on the control of stocks. The use of sophisticated software and the selection of the proper series of rules and membership functions are critical in providing a reasonable solution with the fuzzy approach. Real data is necessary for creating neural networks and providing neural training. Under these conditions, the fuzzy approach is found to be a useful approach for modeling and controlling very complex logistics systems and processes.
