Consumer gains from deregulation in the USA transport sector are listed, particularly reduced tariffs. Specific data are given for airlines including Ryanair, for truck deregulation in the UK since 1968, taxi deregulation in Ireland, airport deregulation and the growth of new or secondary airports, bus deregulation in Ireland reducing fares, and USA and European deregulations contrasted.
