Compressed gas technology for airbag applications
This paper provides an overview of gas supply and compressed gas technology from supplier Linde AG, Germany. Linde produces air gases in cryogenic air separation units: helium is obtained from major production areas in the USA, Russia, Poland and Algeria and supplied in gaseous or liquid phase to be stored in pressure vessels at the customer site. Gas mixing, booster and filling systems are briefly described, with the example given of hydrogen used as a car fuel. For the covering abstract see ITRD E127621.
