METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION PLANNING SEMINARS: SUMMARY REPORT

The report summarizes a series of seminars designed to secure a variety of local opinions on the transportation planning process. The individual city volumes summarize the seminars formal papers, workshop sessions, and discussion periods held during November and December, 1970, and January, 1971, in six metropolitan areas. Each was intended to evaluate the transportation planning process and to develop positive proposals to improve that process. The Summary Report abstracts the discussions, recommendations and findings of the six city seminars: Cleveland, Ohio; Indianapolis, Indiana; Denver, Colorado; San Jose, California; Hartford, Connecticut; and Miami, Florida.
