VESSEL ALLOCATION IN CONTAINER SYSTEMS
In containerized shipping a great deal of expense is invested in the specialized ships required. An efficient routing and scheduling method is needed. This report develops mathematical solutions to optimize routing and scheduling of these ships. The method can also be applied to air transport and railroads.
